Jammu and Kashmir is know as crown of India the state of Jammu & Kashmir share border with Himachal Pradesh and Punjab in the south, while it also has an international border with Pakistan (Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir) in the west and northwest and Republic of China in north and northeast. This is also the reason why this famous all over the world. The state is carefully divided in to three prime regions namely, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The Summer Capital is Srinagar for a period of 6 months from May – Oct ending and The Winter Capital is Jammu for a period of six months from November – April ending.
Picturesque and enchanting, Kashmir is cradled high in the lofty green Himalayas and hailed all over the world for its incredible natural beauty. Surrounded by mountain peaks, lush green valleys, glistening lakes, temples and spectacular Mughal-era gardens, it has inspired poets through centuries.
Tour Itinerary
On your arrival Srinagar Airport From the airport it is a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. We arrive at Houseboat and check in.after refreshment you can go for locals that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens , Cheshma Shahi(Royal Spring), Nishat(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar ( Abode of Love garden of waterfalls) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century ,Botanical Garden(The Gardens of lovers) Harwan Garden(Garden of Chinars),Hazratbal (Pious Dargah) Shankaracharya Temple & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City. Evening time we will take a 01 hour Shikara ride in the Dal Lake . This boat ride glides you past some wonderful Floating vegetable gardens, Handicrafts Centre & inherited lifestyle of people living inside the Lake since decades.
After a pleasurable say , come back to Srinagar Houseboat for a result sleep .
After breakfast, Check-out from the houseboat and En-route to Gulmarg which is 50 Kms away from Srinagar. Gulmarg is famous for the Skiing fields of Rice , Clusters of Walnut , Pear and Mulberry , Orchards of Apples and Forests , Golf Course , Shiv Temple , Church etc. And one of the best activities in Gulmarg is the Gondola Ride (Cable Car Ride). During the winter season, you can try Skiing , Sledding here.
After an eventful day, come back to the Srinagar hotel and surrender yourself to the dream world.
After breakfast, Check-out from the hotel and En-route to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is 100 Kms away from Srinagar and on the way you will visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins, Cricket bat factory and pass-by the Pampore Saffron fields and Mustard fields. Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful tourist spots and famous for Indian Films. It is decorated by the Lidder River, Tall Pine Trees, Beautiful Mountains and the most famous valleys in Pahalgam are Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari. Overnight stay at Hotel in Pahalgam

After breakfast we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. In Sonamarg we will take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajiwas glacier (on own payment ).
Note :- In Sonmarg , Hire a union cab for zero point as well as take a horse riding trip to Thajwas Glacier (at your own cost)
Later ,return to the Srinagar Hotel slip into your cozy beds for a sound slepp.
